For example, if $ \theta = 45^\circ $, then $ \sin 45^\circ = \cos 45^\circ = \frac{\sqrt{2}}{2} $.

Thus, $ \tan 45^\circ = \frac{\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}}{\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}} = 1 $
