How do cognitive biases influence our decision-making processes?

Answer 1

Jason Kline

Cognitive biases are systematic patterns of deviation from norm or rationality in judgment. They influence our decision-making processes by affecting the way we perceive, interpret, and respond to information. For example, confirmation bias leads us to favor information that confirms our preexisting beliefs, while anchoring bias causes us to rely too heavily on the first piece of information we encounter. These biases can lead to errors in judgment and suboptimal decisions.
