How do black holes form and can anything escape from them?

Answer 1

Janet Pena

Black holes form from the remnants of massive stars that have ended their life cycles. When a star with sufficient mass undergoes a supernova explosion, its core collapses under gravity, forming a black hole. The gravitational pull of a black hole is so strong that nothing, not even light, can escape from it once it crosses the event horizon.
