Neutron stars and black holes are both remnants of massive stars that have undergone supernova explosions. A neutron star forms when the core of a massive star collapses to the point where protons and electrons combine to form neutrons. It is incredibly dense and primarily composed of neutrons. A black hole, on the other hand, forms when the core collapse is so extreme that it creates a singularity with infinite density and a gravitational pull so strong that not even light can escape. The key differences lie in their density, composition, and gravitational effects.
